Hello and happy Friday! Congrats on making it to the end of the week! This week was a real doozy between being sick, and working mostly the early early shifts at work, so I am overdue for some sleep this weekend. Per the weather forecast, north Texas may be hit with some rain on Saturday morning, so I’m not sure what my outlook is for a run tomorrow, but I do have the Skyline 5k Sunday morning, so hopefully the weather cooperates in time for that event! We’ll see how that one plays out. In the meantime, let’s share some fun favorites from this week!
- Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter & Jelly Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
Fun fact about me. I hate jelly. For as long as I can remember, I have strictly been a peanut butter and bread only kind of person, nor am I one to put jelly or jam or anything (biscuits, toast, other breads I suppose). That being said, I happened upon this PB&J flavor while I was stocking up on yogurt for the week at Trader Joe’s and to my surprise I loved it! I mixed in some cut up strawberries, bananas, and a sprinkle of chia seeds to make it a bit more filling, but it’s definitely a future repurchase. Also, the packaging is stupid cute.
I’ve officially been on SnapChat (mallorycanteven) for a couple of weeks now, and I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of it. I still don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to watching other people’s “stories” but all I know is that I’m not supposed to screen shot anything because it means I’m a loser? I don’t know, I need a cool fifteen year old to show me how this stupid thing works. Anyways, I’ve mostly just been posting random pics from my day, such as the one above when I was leaving my barre class with my friend Natalie on Wednesday. Those leggings really do make me feel like a cool astronaut though…
- Wet Hot American Summer Reboot
I learned Thursday morning that my favorite comedy of all time, Wet Hot American Summer, is coming back with a sequel and I am over the moon excited. All I know is that this story line picks up 10 years later after the last day of camp when they all agreed to reunite. I can’t wait for Michael Showalter’s terrible haircut and Paul Rudd’s denim jacket. Also, any time I mention this movie I feel like it’s necessary to include a clip of my favorite scene. Enjoy.
That about wraps it up for me this week! Here’s to hoping the weather holds off and I get some decent outdoor runs logged! I hope you all have a great weekend, and I’ll catch back up with you on Monday!
