Hello, and happy Friday! This week has absolutely wiped me out. I worked the super early shift this week, and for reasons I can’t pin point, have been having the worst sleep ever. Without fail I keep waking up in the middle of the night, and subsequently tossing and turning for an hour or so until I fall back asleep. I’ve been drinking bedtime tea (Shout out to you, Yogi!), stretching, and taking melatonin before bed, but no dice! I’m hoping I can sleep like I live in a mattress commercial during this upcoming three day weekend, but we’ll see! Despite my lack of sleep, I have stumbled upon enough favorites to revive my Friday Finds series. Let’s take a look!
This video has nearly a million views and I am certain that I am responsible for half of them. I have been listening to this non-stop and it has become my new favorite workout jam. As you may remember from my Tacky Christmas Running Jamz playlist, I friggin’ love Ariana Grande, so when you combine her with my love with 80’s pop, you have certified gold in my book.
I never thought I’d see the day where I wasn’t preaching the positives of an Erin Condren planner, but here we are. As much as I loved my 2016 EC planner (and you all know I did), I thought for 2017, especially since I’m trying to kick it into high gear with running and yoga, I’d switch it up to a Blogilates planner. While it leaves less room for decoration (RIP 1000 rolls of washi tape at my desk), it does allot spaces for meal planning, water intake, weekly goals, and a daily checklist. I think this weekend I’ll figure out a way I can decorate it, because planner decoration is a high key obsession of mine, plus I can’t let that washi tape go to waste! I’ll update you all on how that goes because I know you are just as emotionally invested in this as I am.
No, I am not about to promote my pale grunge blog (we all know I’m not cool enough for that), but I did want to update you that I’ve added a Mallory Can’t Even Tumblr into my social media mix! I used to be super active on Tumblr back in college (as we all were), but I deleted my old one a few years ago when I switched over to WordPress. I’ll mostly just be using it to log daily workouts and meals, that way I don’t clog up this blog and my Instagram feed with repetitive posts and pictures, but I thought it was also be fun to use to find new recipes and workout ideas. I knew I spoke too soon on this one. Remember how on Monday I was all hyped to be back on the treadmill? Well, cut to Monday and Tuesday night’s workouts and every single treadmill was taken! I stuck to the elliptical for my cardio both nights, but I was so sad that I didn’t get to keep with my running streak. As happy as I am that New Year’s resolutioners are taking to the gym this month, could at least one of them find love with a different machine and let me have the treadmill? Pretty please?
