Hello, and happy birthday to me! Today I am turning the ripe old age of 27. It’s hard to believe that in years I’ll be 30! When that birthday comes, please just expect a live stream of me violently breathing into a paper bag, because I’m pretty sure that’s how it will go. Until then, I thought I’d ring in my birthday with a fun blog quiz I found way back in the archives of Peanut Butter Fingers blog! I also posted a blog survey on my birthday last year, so maybe I’ll just make this a yearly tradition (except for my 30th of course)!
The 11 Questions Survey
1. In baseball each player gets a “walk up song” that plays on his way up to the plate. What song would you pick?
2. What’s the best thing that happened to you last weekend?
I took a nap! In my defense though, I have been having the worst sleep ever for the past week, so the nap was fully welcomed.
3. If you could have a starring role in any film already made, which movie would you pick?
I would play Kristen Wiig’s part in Bridesmaids just for the cookie punch scene.
4. What actor/actress would you have play you in a movie of your life?
Kristen Wiig can play because I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I too have a meltdown at someone’s bridal shower.
5. What is your favorite quote?
I honestly have no idea! I wish I hadn’t deleted my favorite quotes section from Facebook because I used to have a list of David Sedaris excerpts that I loved. For the sake of this question though, I’ll just say the entirety of “When You Are Engulfed in Flames”.
7. What was your first concert?
Ben Folds in 2006!
7. What Internet website do you visit the most?
8. Which of Snow White’s 7 dwarfs describes you the best and why?
I’d like to think Happy, but I think since I’m often a clutz and most days it feels like I left my brain at home, Dopey would be most correct.
9. If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
Fried calamari, a medium-rare steak, Del Frisco’s truffle mac and cheese, and then cheesecake.
10. What is the background of your computer?
Well, it was a picture of Jake and I from a few years ago, but for some reason, my laptop will only save it for like a week before it defaults to some stock photo of the Grand Canyon. Thanks, Apple!
Um, I’m just now realizing that there is no question 11 for this “11 Questions Survey” (See? I really am Dopey). I went back to Julie’s blog and noticed it wasn’t there either. How I about I just make one up?
11. What is a TV show/movie/book from your childhood that you remember, but no one else does when you bring it up in conversation?
I have two answers for this! The first being a Disney show called “The Torkleson’s” that I swear it’s only viewership was my sister and I, because NO ONE ever knows what I am talking about when I mention it! It was about a single mom and her (what seemed like) 30 kids, and I remember one of the kids used to always talk to the “man on the moon” every night. My second answer is difficult, because I don’t remember the name of the movie, and every time I Google search vague things I remember about it, I come up with zero results. All I remember is that it was an animated (not Disney) Princess movie, and I think the Princess had brown hair, was trapped in a castle, escapes, and can talk to animals (like most animated princesses)? I’m super aware that these details are the least amount of help of all time, but I’m mainly just hoping my sister reads this and happens to remember. Does anyone know what I am talking about, or is this the result of a weird fever dream I had as a child? I swear it’s a real movie!
Thanks for indulging me in another blog survey! I hope you all have a great Wednesday!
No, but really. What was that princess movie???
