Hello, and happy June! It’s a brand new month, with brand new goals, and as promised from last month, I’m stepping up the intensity for June! I really liked the financial goal I set for myself in May, so I think I’ll keep that a trend going forward. I’m still going to keep the count at three, I don’t want overextend myself or make promises I can’t keep, but these seem pretty attainable! Plus I threw in a fun one just to keep myself from going crazy. Let’s see what goals are on tap for this month!
Much like last month, I am going to continue to abstain from online shopping (abstain was probably the weirdest word choice for this. Someone please buy a thesaurus), but I am going to kick it up a notch by cancelling any and all of my monthly subscriptions. So Mallory, say goodbye to Stitch Fix, Blue Apron and Ipsy. We all had a good run, but this girl has a vacation to save up for, and will have to learn to shop, cook, and apply makeup on her own. Also, maybe look into getting some help on speaking to yourself in the third person. It’s becoming a concern.
Speaking of my upcoming beach trip, I’m trying to kick my workouts up a notch in an effort to tone up my arms a little, and after rediscovering a bunch of Cassey Ho’s Blogilates videos last week (used to work out to her all the time back in the day!), I’ve noticed a major improvement in my shoulders! That being said, I’m going to try to incorporate at least one video a day (Fridays are my usual rest days, so I’ll take a break from videos on that day too) to incorporate into my gym/yoga/running routine. The great thing is that a lot of her videos are super short, so it’s totally possible to squeeze in an extra 3 to 5 minutes a day.
